AGM notice

The Seymour and District Art Soceity Annual General Meeting will be held at 10.30am on Sunday 23 August at the Old Courthouse, 47 Emily Street, Seymour. 

The AGM is an opportunity for members to hear about the Society’s activities over the past year, receive the annual reports and financial statements, and elect the Committee for the coming year.

All financial members are eligible to nominate for positions and vote.

• Confirmation of the Minutes of AGM held 30 August 2026
• ​Appointment of Returning Officer and 2 Scrutineers (if required)
• President’s Report
• Financial Report & Balance Sheet for Financial Year 2025/26
• Treasurer’s Report
• Review or confirm the amounts of the annual subscription and joining fee (for 2027/28)
• Declaration of all Committee positions vacant in accordance with Rule 50.1(b) and 50.2
• Election of Officer Bearers and Committee Members
• Election of Executive
• Election of Committee
• Motions on Notice
  • Appointment of signatories.
  • Appointment of the Exhibition committee members.
  • Appointment of 2 representatives of the S&DAS on the Courthouse Committee of Management
  • Motion of thanks to outgoing members of the S&DAS Committee.
