Members & Friends of the Gallery

Full membership entitles artists to hang their work in the Old Courthouse Gallery in Seymour, have priority access to workshop and event bookings and take part in exhibitions, showings, pop-up markets and other events throughout the year.

If you simply enjoy art and would like to support local artists, our Friends of the Gallery option may be perfect for you. This entitles you to receive regular newsletters and invitations to first showings of exhibitions, as well as other functions. 
Membership Options
Memberships are due by financial year. 
Member - Full
$50 per year
  • Attend general meetings
  • Hang your works in the Old Courthouse Gallery
  • Vote on the best artwork at each new exhibition held in the Old Courthouse Gallery
  • Hold individual exhibitions in the Charles August Gallery
  • Profile and photos of your artwork included on the Society website 
  • Attend and receive member discount and priority access for workshops

$40 per year
  • Attend general meetings
  • Hang your works in the Old Courthouse Gallery
  • Vote on the best artwork at each new exhibition held in the Old Courthouse Gallery
  • Hold individual exhibitions in the Charles August Gallery

*Tertiary education students and holders of a valid Centrelink, Healthcare, Pension or Veterans Affairs cards

$20 per year
  • Attend general society meetings as an observer
  • Participate in excursions organised by the society including trips to other galleries or other art related venues.

Seymour and District Art Society regard their Friends of the Gallery as an important component of the society. Your support is an important way of becoming involved in art in our area and your participation is very welcome.
