The Seymour Old Courthouse is a beautiful, historically significant building. Built in 1864 for 783 pounds, with additions in 1885-1886 and 1916, the building operated as Seymour’s courthouse until 1973 when the new Magistrate's Court opened around the corner. Today, the building is home to the Seymour Visitor Information and the Seymour & District Art Society's Old Courthouse Gallery and Charles August Room.
